The wind will pick up as the first half of the workweek concludes with at or below-average temperatures. Gusts up to 35 mphare possible so anchor down those holiday decorations if you have already put them up.
NEXT: Make sure to bring the winter gear as highs will peak in the 40s through Thursday. The coldest mornings of the season so far will be on Tuesday and Wednesday morning with those pesky feels-like temperatures bottoming out in the teens. There even is a chance of some flurries in Litchfield County Tuesday, and Wednesday morning.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Rain showers and downpours. Drier by sunrise. Lows in the 40s. Breezy NE wind shifting west at 10-15 mph.
MONDAY: Rain ends by sunrise, turning windy and sunny. Highs around 50. Gusty breeze up to 30 mph.
TUESDAY: Cold start with flurries possible in Litchfield County. Sunny and breezy with gusts up to 35 mph. Highs in the 30s.
WEDNESDAY: Feels like the teens to start the day with flurries possible early in Litchfield County, mostly sunny and breezy. Highs approaching 40 with feels-like temperatures in the 30s.
THURSDAY: Partly cloudy and milder. Highs approaching 50.
FRIDAY: Increasing clouds with showers late. Highs around 50.
