All right. Well, let's give you a check of your weather. Now with storm watch team, meteorologist, Alan. No, Alan, you would tell me a little bit about how I should plan out my weekend. What are we working with this week? Oh, yeah, it's going to be a 5050 weekend. And unfortunately that a negative side of the 5050 might be a biggie. But before we get to that, let's continue to talk about this cold because it's that December cold that out the door this morning this morning, you felt it tomorrow morning especially. You will want that winter jack. It'll actually be near freezing for northern parts of our borough. 32 for Riverdale. A bit milder. The farther south you go. So th 35 City Island, 37. But hat and scarf. I would recommend that for tomorrow morning and into the afternoon, the clouds will keep us chilly all day long. Honestly, me, we might touch that 40 degree mark briefly there at around two or three o'clock. But most of the day will be in the thirties. Should generally be dry. Can't roll out an isolated Sprinkle, but we have a chance for a couple of snowflakes heading into Hanukkah, especially during the afternoon and evening as the sun sets, a couple of flakes are possible. Again, it's not gonna stick, it's just going to add to the festive feel here into the evening hours, it'll still stay chilly. And then the weekend ahead, this is where it's going to be a potential problem. We have an area of low pressure, warm air ahead of it. So Saturday is actually going to be pretty nice. But on Sunday, there's going to be plenty of moisture and rain and the possibility of a couple of thunderstorm are out there. That's why I got that yellow highlight on the 10 day forecast. Those high temperatures well into the sixties, in fact, but it's not a day where you want to spend time outdoors as it stands now. Ok. Is it going to be an all day storm? We're expecting, we're still working out the details on that. Today's Tuesday. This is for Sunday, but the potential is there for the second half of the day, especially for significant rain. Ok. Welcome back to News 12. I'm Pat O'keefe. It is the start of the college football season. In new york city expectations are high at Fordham as the RAMs were picked to finish second in the Patriot League's preseason poll. On thursday. They started with a non conference game on Staten Island, across the Verrazano bridge to Wagner. But Fordham goes on to win the opener, Demery throws five touchdowns and runs this one in to seal the victory after an electric Wednesday night at Citi Field. The Mets on thursday afternoon going for the series victory against the best team in baseball, trailing the Dodgers 2 to 1 in the bottom of the sixth, Francisco Lindor sends one all the way to the wall, scoring Starling Marte and tying the game at two linder would score on a sacrifice fly to give the Mets the lead and then Marte a two out single in the seventh. Mets win 53 and take two out of three from the Dodgers. The knicks officially announced that one of their building blocks is staying in new york R. J. Barrett has signed a contract extension reportedly for four years and worth up to $120 million. Barrett is 22 years old last year, his third in the NBA, he averaged 20 points per game. However, all Star Donovan Mitchell, who the knicks were reportedly trying to acquire, has been traded but not to New york Mitchell has been traded from Utah to the Cleveland cavaliers. So the Westchester County native will not be suiting up for his hometown team. That move engineered by Cavs General Manager Koby Altman, a Brooklyn native and graduate of New You tricked high school.
