It’s been more than a year since an announcement that $200 million would be put into redeveloping the Kingsbridge Armory.

City and state officials promised input from the community would be crucial in the planning of exactly what would go into the building.

City Council Member Pierina Sanchez tells News 12 that 10 vendors from around the world applied for the job.

Sanchez says she’s expecting a decision from the NYC Economic Development Corporation on what vendor will be chosen to redevelop the Armory in the next six weeks.
