Commuters say they are upset because a community staple in the Bronx has become littered with garbage.
They say the East 180th Street subway stop in Van Nest is filled with trash and rats, and they want it cleaned up.
Published reports say the station has received more than $66 million in renovations in recent years, but not much has been done to make sure it stays up to date. Commuters say workers sweep inside but leave trash for all to see.
News 12 reached out to the Department of Sanitation, which says it's going to look into the issue Wednesday.
