Dozens of residents gathered at town hall Wednesday night to speak out against a traffic proposal they say will cause a traffic nightmare in Morris Park.
A representative from the New York City Department of Transportation was at the meeting to hear from the residents.
The No. 1 complaint, they say, is traffic. They believe the proposal to reduce the two lanes into one in both directions will affect businesses and make it nearly impossible to travel in the area.
Thousands of people signed a petition against the proposal. The community board has also voted against it, but the city has continued to push for the change.
