Crews restored power in one Co-op City building after an unexpected outage, News 12 is told.

Fire officials say the outage happened at 21 Asch Loop, leaving some residents without power.

News 12 is told that at a few elevators also became stuck at the time of the outage. No one was using any of the elevators at that time.

Con Ed has since stated that a problem with customer equipment caused the outage.
