Con Edison is preparing for today’s winter storm.  

Con Ed representative Philip O’Brien says emergency response crews are on standby and are ready to respond to outages due to the storm.  

O’Brien says residents should call 911 or Con Ed if they see a down power line and to stay away.  

He says customers should make sure they have a flashlight and devices fully charged in case of outages.
