A group of Concourse Village tenants is taking their landlord to housing court.
The tenants rallied Tuesday outside of their building at 215 East 164th St. to demand repairs and better living conditions.
They were joined by Council Member Vanessa Gibson.
According to the city Housing Preservation and Development's website, there are 152 open violations in the four-building development ranging from small repairs to a full vacate order from a June fire that broke out on the fourth floor.

There are also safety concerns.

Tenants tell News 12 that squatters and anyone else who wanders off the street sit on the building staircases and smoke marijuana and cigarettes.
The building is owned by Sheridan Court Mews Associates.
A Bronx legal service that represents the tenants says their actions Tuesday tell the landlord that tenants know their rights.
