The owner of a Claremont Parkway business that has been in The Bronx for decades says he's losing customers because of construction work being done by the city.
The Department of Transportation (DOT) has been repairing a bridge on Claremont Parkway since July, slashing the four-lane road down to two, which resulted in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
"I don't wish this on anyone. I don't wish it on my competition. I don't wish it on any other location. It's just so difficult," says business owner Stanley Hyman.
Efforts by News 12 The Bronx to reach the DOT and discuss the situation were unsuccessful.
