News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says New York City will see cooler temperatures stick around with a return to rainy weather on Friday morning.
TROPICAL STORM FRANKLIN has made landfall south of Barahona, Dominican Republic around 12PM. Heavy rain will produce potentially life-threatening flooding and mudslides as it moves over Hispaniola this afternoon. Franklin is expected to intensify to a hurricane by this weekend and impact parts of Bermuda. Rough surf could impact our ocean facing beaches by early next week. Stay tuned for changes.
