It will be a wet finish to the work week today with
periods of rain that could result in flash flooding.
News 12 forecasters say a cold front will bring periods of
moderate to heavy rain to the city Friday morning. Showers are expected to
continue through the afternoon and evening.
Meteorologists say 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected. There
is also a medium risk of damaging winds and a low risk of lightning.
Saturday will be breezy but partly sunny. Rain will likely
move earlier than prognosticated on the models, but there could be a light
shower by 6 a.m.
