Asymptomatic carriers of the coronavirus – are you one of them? How do you know? The answer is a simple blood test away.
As antibody testing has become more available in New York City in recent weeks, more people are getting tested. Statcare on Bartow Avenue is one of the many locations throughout the city working to provide that kind of clarity.
Medical experts say it's unclear that a positive antibody test will result in immunity. Also, if someone does test positive it doesn’t mean that they should let their guard down.
They say that more testing could be a way to get back to normal living, but that there are still a lot more questions that need to be answered.
