Neighbors in Country Club are complaining about a spike in car vandalism.
Residents say that thieves have been targeting vehicles in several neighborhoods since March, stealing property from inside, as well as tires.
Sandra Rivera is among the victims who says she found her Toyota sitting on three cinder blocks without tires and with a smashed window on Stadium Avenue over the weekend. Another man reported his laptop was taken from his car.
Police from the 45th Precinct are aware of the problem and say that some of the targeted vehicles had keys in them. They're urging everyone to keep their car doors locked.
