Authorities have arrested 12 people in a Bronx gang takedown centered around Soundview near Stratford Avenue and 172nd Street.
According to the criminal complaints, alleged gang members using aliases like "Trap," "Dirt," "Millz" and "Money" were arrested after selling crack to undercover officers. They were being tracked by investigators since as far back as July 2015.
Police say they have audio and video recordings of the transactions, most of which were around $100 at a time. They say they made about 60 drug purchases between July 2015 and June 2016.
Police say most of the drug deals took place inside various apartment buildings.
