The owners of Black Nile Restaurant in Crown Heights say they’re keeping their heads up after they say their restaurant window was vandalized during violent protests.
They say they found out about the window Tuesday morning when someone sent them a picture of the damage.

The restaurant says they opened their doors two years ago and that many call it a staple in the community.
The owners say they put a sign in the window saying “black-owned” hoping that their business wouldn’t be targeted.
They say the window is not being covered by their insurance but that they have received a lot of community support looking for ways to help out.
