Delays hit Staten Island Ferry after fire breaks out, 5 injured

The FDNY officials say more than 550 passengers were evacuated from the Staten Island Ferry Thursday night after a fire broke out.

The FDNY officials say more than 550 passengers were evacuated from the Staten Island Ferry Thursday night after a fire broke out.
According to firefighters, the fire started in the mechanical room, disabling the ferry.
Five people were reported to have minor injuries out of the 868 passengers along with 16 crew members. 
New York Waterway says those passengers were brought to St. George on Staten Island.
