Planning on traveling this summer? Travel agents say they have seen a dramatic spike in demand for travel this summer as COVID-19 cases drop.
Because the demand is so high right now, travel agents like Yvonne Glenn from Our Gang Travel in Maplewood recommend booking sooner rather than later.
"Do not procrastinate. If you want to go any place this summer, please do it now. Because if not, you're going to have to do it in the fall," says Glenn.
However, you should still be aware of some potential COVID-19 complications.
Travel agents say some hotels are not booking 100% capacity so that guests can stay socially distanced. Before booking your trip, double check vaccination requirements before you book.
