Concerned New Yorkers rallied Sunday outside Kings Plaza Mall, calling on city, state and federal officials to change immigration policies.
The crowd marched several block down Avenue U, chanting “New Yorkers come first.”
Demonstrators said that they are against the use of tax dollars to fund housing for undocumented immigrants. They are also against what they called an “open border policy” along the U.S. southern border.
They also say changes need to be made to bail reform and New York's Raise the Age bill.
News 12’s Josiah Darnell was there and spoke with attendees.
