Disabled residents are asking for News 12's help after their building's elevators broke down. It happened on Saturday after a fire broke out inside their Boston Road building. “I don’t feel safe anymore, I don’t want to be in this building anymore," said Michelle Santiago, a resident with cerebral palsy. Residents say they were informed by management that the elevators will be out of service for the next two weeks. “I don’t know why they are taking two weeks to fix these elevators if they know people got wheelchairs and walkers here," said Evelyn, a resident.
