This comes after the immense rainfall that New York City was struck with last Friday. Experts say flood damage can affect the engine, transmission, wiring, airbag or even a car's computers, which can cost the buyer tons of money.
John Leylegian, associate professor of mechanical engineering at Manhattan College, says to also check the car's fluids, which may be the wrong color or substance if water damage has occurred.
