A suspect is in custody nearly 14 years after a 42-year-old man was fatally stabbed in an abandoned home in Camden because of a DNA breakthrough.
Officials say Kenyar Hill has been charged with first-degree murder in the killing of Brian Holden in 2011. They say officers found Holden lying in the middle of an abandoned home on Mechanic Street.
Officials say that Hill paid to have sex with Holden’s girlfriend, who said that the two men got into an argument and that Hill stabbed Holden.
A recent DNA test connects Hill to a sexual assault forensic examination taken the night Holden was killed.
