A Department of Sanitation warehouse in Unionport is temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The building was forced to evacuate for cleaning and disinfecting before they can reopen.
A spokesperson released a statement saying in part: "We have prepared for this situation. The facility will be closed for 24 hours for cleaning and disinfecting. The neighboring garage will service the affected garage districts and there may be delay in collection."
For all other areas, garbage, recycling and organics collections remain on schedule.
The condition of the employee is unknown.
