The New York City Department of Transportation says it will be filling many potholes over the weekend.
The department says it will be dispatching crews throughout all five boroughs, with additional efforts along residential streets and arterial roadways.
The announcement comes after AAA said last month that there was a surge in potholes after January's historic blizzard, leading to a spike in flat tire calls.
Shoppers at Bruckner Plaza told News 12 The Bronx that they will believe the DOT's pothole effort when they see actual results.
