Wet weather in the forecast may have some drivers changing which days they plan to hit the road before the Thanksgiving holiday.
The News 12 Storm Watch Team is tracking rain for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tuesday is a gridlock alert day. Those are days the Department of Transportation recommends people take mass transit, bike, or walk, because the roads will be packed. The DOT identifies those days by collecting and analyzing traffic data from past years and they usually fall around the holiday season.
Some drivers tell News 12 they will either avoid the roads altogether or leave Wednesday night.
