Malls across the city welcomed back shoppers for the first time Wednesday since shutting down in March due to the pandemic.
Dozens of shoppers lined up outside of Kings Plaza shopping center in Mill Basin.
Shoppers visiting malls can expect to see a few changes. The hallways of both Kings Plaza and the Mall at Bay Plaza are not as packed as usual because of a 50% capacity limit.
Hand sanitizing stations are throughout the malls, as well as signage requiring masks and social distancing.
Some stores and eateries in the malls are still closed.
