A drive-thru breast cancer walk was held at Manhattanville College in Purchase Sunday to raise awareness and donations for the disease.

Survivors and supporters tell News 12 they're keeping the excitement level high, especially considering that the American Cancer Society says about half its research funding is at risk without the ability to gather in mass numbers and walk.

Organizers say they also have a lot of people raising money and doing things on their own, like walking in their neighborhoods.

There was another drive-thru walk held in Central Valley Sunday.
