A driver took police on a wild chase from Manhattan to the Bronx early Sunday morning.
The driver tried to get away from officers who stopped him at Payson Avenue and Dykman Street in Inwood.
Officials tell News 12 that that driver, who has been identified as 27-year-old George Lopez, hit several NYPD and other parked cars before fleeing via the sidewalk.
Lopez allegedly drove the wrong way on the Mosholu Parkway exit lane and then hit a parked Toyota RAV4, which finally ended the chase.
He was arrested and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Lopez has been charged with reckless endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident, operating while impaired, reckless driving and driving with no license.
