Storm recovery efforts are far from over Monday morning, Acting DSNY Commissioner Javier Lojan said in an interview with News 12.
Cold temperatures made it difficult for crews working to salt roads and plow early Sunday. However, he said significant progress was made throughout the night.
“This morning, we’re going to continue that,” Lojan said. “We’re going to salt areas that need to be retreated, plow and focus on a lot of those pedestrian areas.”
