Some Bronx residents say they are concerned about the intersection of East Gun Hill Road and Webster Avenue, especially now that kids are heading back to school.
One youngster who was starting the fifth grade Thursday said he will have to cross the dangerous intersection every day. While it does make him nervous, he said he takes his time and makes sure it's safe before crossing.
Another resident told News 12 they feel like they are risking their life whenever they cross the street.
According to the Vision Zero website, 16 people were injured last year at the intersection. So far this year, 14 people have been hurt and one person was killed.
