Eggs were thrown at a BX15 MTA bus operator by a passenger in Morrisania.

Police say the incident happened on Oct. 3 in front of 3250 3rd Ave. Sources say that a passenger got into an argument with a 53-year-old bus operator. He then reached into his shopping cart for a carton of eggs and threw it at the operator.

Then, the passenger left the bus and escaped down Boston Road towards East 164th Street. The operator was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln by EMS and is expected to be OK.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
