Community members walked, danced and sang through the streets of East Harlem, also known as el barrio, as they joined El Museo del Barrio's 47th Annual Three Kings Day celebration.
The parade began on E. 106th Street and Park Avenue and ended at 115th and Park Avenue. A celebration filled with music, dances and excitement.
Three Kings Day, also known as El Dia de Los Reyes, celebrates the biblical tale of the three wise men. It's a big holiday for the Hispanic community.
Frances Roman, the owner of Cocotazo, a Puerto Rican restaurant in the neighborhood," says she closed her doors on Monday to be out on the streets.
"To be a part of this parade with the people in the community that I have a business in and to celebrate culture, it means everything to me." said Roman.
