(AP) Ellen DeGeneres says she's not a racist - even if some people on the internet think so. The talk show host has been getting backlash on social media after posting one of those silly photos she often puts online.
She posted an edited photo of herself riding on the back of Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt. The caption on the image said: "This is how I'm running errands from now on."
The image of a white woman riding on the back of a black man was criticized as having racist overtones by some on social media.
But in a message on Twitter, DeGeneres says she is "highly aware of the racism that exists in our country" but that is - quoting her here - "the furthest thing from who I am."
