A Bronx mother breathed a sigh of relief as her two missing sons were found safe and sound Monday night.
Jenine Campbell’s two sons didn’t show up at school on Friday, and she says she knew something was wrong.
“They left, happy, normal, asked me for a juice in the morning,” said Campbell. “They didn’t take no money, no food stamp card, their tablets or their computers. It doesn’t add up to me.”
Jessiah Campbell, 15, and Justice Campbell, 12, had last been seen leaving their house on East Tremont Avenue. Their mother says they live in a shelter.
Police told Jenine Campbell that the boys’ cellphones were pinged along Jamaica Avenue in Queens, Broadway in Brooklyn, and East 165th Street and Findlay Avenue in the Bronx.
