The cold weather outside is not preventing one Morrisania family from feeling the heat inside their home.
Yaritiza Rivera says burning hot water has been leaking from her bathroom pipes since Thursday.
She and her family say the leak started out as steam but now the wall has started pealing and the ceiling has collapsed.
Rivera says they tried contacting New York City Housing several times but did not heard back.
After News 12 reached out NYCHA, two workers showed up to look at the problem.
