Family, friends attend wake for 1-year-old fatally shot in Brooklyn

Friends and family paid their respects Sunday to a toddler who was fatally shot in Brooklyn at a family barbecue.
Davell Gardner was 1 year old when he was killed on July 12 while sitting in his stroller. A bullet hit his stomach just before his second birthday. Three adults were also injured at the time.
Davell’s loved ones entered the funeral home to pay respects in small groups Sunday.
The wake also drew crowds of people outside LH Woodward Funeral Home. The NYPD placed gates along Troy Avenue to monitor how many people came through the doors.
Davell's death sparked outrage in the community and among elected officials.
Police say they are looking for two shooters in connection to the fatal shooting. They released surveillance footage of the incident outside Raymond Bush Park.
A spokesperson for the family says that the funeral will be held Monday in Brooklyn.
