Some Yankee fans put an emphasis on their wardrobe to show their pinstripe pride during the team's playoff run.
Hundreds of fans filing into Yankee Stadium Tuesday were seen decked out in their favorite team apparel. While many were wearing jerseys and T-shirts, others wore jerseys of legendary players like Mickey Mantle.
Traditional apparel like classic team jackets were also seen at the stadium, but some fans had their faces painted and one woman even wore her "lucky slippers" to the game.
A new piece of apparel during the season was the "thumbs down" shirt, made popular by Yankee third baseman Todd Frazier.
Frazier was given a thumbs down by a Mets fan after he hit a home run during a regular season game. Ever since, the thumb became the Yankees' symbol for success in 2017.
The chilly weather Wednesday played a role in many outfit choices, as some Yankees knit hats and sweaters were seen at the game.
