Fast food chains using hand washing lie detectors to check for clean hands

Managers have employees’ identification codes linked to the hand scanner, so they know if anyone cheats.

Do you sometimes wonder if workers at your favorite restaurant wash their hands? There is technology that monitors that.
PathSpot, a company from New York, now has a lie detector for washing hands. Employees who washed their hands place them under a scanner and in seconds, it says if their hands have germs.
Managers have employees’ identification codes linked to the hand scanner, so they know if anyone cheats.
Food contamination can lead to E. coli, norovirus and salmonella.
