Father calling for aid in search for son who’s been missing for 15 days
The missing man's father tells News 12 that Matallana suffers from mental health issues and has gone missing in the past for a day or two at a time, but never for this long.

David Matallana was last seen on Oct. 2 leaving his apartment building in the Bronx and hasn’t been seen since. Now, his father is begging for help in bringing his son home safely.
Tomorrow is David Matallana’s 34th birthday, but he has been missing for nearly all of October. His father, Daniel Matallana, has been frantically searching throughout the Bronx, Manhattan and in New Jersey where the Matallana family lives.
Daniel tells News 12 that Matallana suffers from mental health issues and has gone missing in the past for a day or two at a time, but never for this long.
“We are looking for you,” said Daniel Matallana. “I am dying to see you again.”
Police are asking for anyone who may have information on David Matallana's whereabouts to call immediately.
