FDA: COVID-19 vaccine booster shots for immunocompromised expected to be approved

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is expected to announce as soon as today authorization of COVID-19 vaccine booster shots for some people who are immunocompromised.
It would be a third shot of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
There is no word yet on when to expect announcements for other groups.
