7h agoAn apartment fire early Friday morning in Mount Hope left one person hospitalized in serious condition.
Fire officials say it occurred at around 5:48 a.m. on Weeks Avenue between 175th Street and the Cross Bronx Expressway.
The flames erupted on the fifth floor and took nearly 60 firefighters to extinguish.
Fire marshals are working to determine the cause of the fire.
