A fire at a 19-story Soundview building left one person hurt overnight, according to officials.

The flames broke out on the second floor of the building at 955 Evergreen Avenue. It took around 78 fire and EMS personnel to control the situation.

Authorities say the person was hospitalized at Jacobi Medical Center with minor injuries and is expected to be OK.
