FDNY officials say two people were sent to the hospital after a two-alarm fire tore through a home on East 23rd Street overnight in Midwood.
Firefighters responded to a home on 877 E. 23rd St. completely engulfed in flames at around 10:30 p.m. The fire took 120 firefighters about three hours to put out.
Everyone in the 3-story private home escaped the building, but two people were taken to a hospital for minor injuries, fire officials say.
It's unclear what started the fire at this time.
