Fire officials say five people were hurt after a fire broke out in the Bronx this morning.
According to the FDNY, the fire started shortly before 9:30 a.m. on the first floor of a two-story home on Fteley Avenue.
Firefighters were able to put it out in under 30 minutes.
All five civilians were taken to NYC Health + Hospital/Jacobi, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
