FDNY: Belmont apartment fire leaves 6 injured

Six people were hurt and all were transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, according to EMS officials.

A fire broke out at a Belmont apartment building on Monday evening, according to the FDNY. 
Fire officials say the fire broke out at around 6 p.m. at an apartment building along Hughes Avenue on the second floor of a four-story building.
Six people were hurt and all were transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, according to EMS officials. 
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
