Firefighters respond to basement fire in Kingsbridge
2h agoA person is recovering after being stabbed early Saturday morning on Forbell Street.
The incident occurred at around 1 a.m., according to the FDNY. There is currently no word on the victim’s condition or the events that led to the stabbing.
Police have not yet released any details yet about the incident.
Data from the police department shows an increase in assaults with weapons in the city compared to this time last year. However, numbers from the 75th Precinct show a decrease compared to last year.
