The power is back on in East New York following an outage late Tuesday night.
The FDNY said crews restored power just after midnight and are now trying to determine a cause that led to the outage that lasted a little more than three hours.
FDNY said crews responded around 9:45 p.m. for a power outage at Spring Creek Towers, also known as Starrett City, that involved 28 buildings.
Officials said FDNY and EMS worked together to search through all the buildings, checked the elevators and made sure nobody needed assistance. They also helped engineers at the complex figure out what happened.
The complex has its own generator.
News 12 has reached out to management for more information but has not received a comment yet.
Officials said no one was hurt.
