Federal agents raided at least two Bronx apartments on Tuesday, restraining at least two people and collecting boxes of electronics.
On Tuesday, Homeland Security, U.S. Marshals, NYPD and Suffolk County police officers spent hours on University Avenue in University Heights carrying bags of evidence and cellphones out.
Officials also spent most of the evening going in and out of a first floor apartment on Quimby Avenue in Castle Hill, where officers brought out Apple products and one officer was spotted swabbing a gun inside of the building.
An upstairs neighbor tells News 12 federal agents also kicked down his door.
Officials have not released a lot of information, only saying the investigation is not related to immigration.
