New
York can continue to enforce a new state law banning guns from
"sensitive" places.
A
federal appeals court panel says the state can enforce the legislation in
places such as parks and theaters while judges consider a legal challenge.
Most
of the ruling is still on hold after a district judge found constitutional
issues with multiple parts of the law.
Those
matters include applicants being required to have "good moral
character" and forcing them to turn over information about their social
media accounts.
