Fire officials say fallen wires sparked a fire in Edison on Saturday.

They say the wires fell near Woodland Avenue and Country Lane.

The fire wasn’t caused by the wet weather, but the wires did snap while it was downpouring in the area, according to officials.

Some residents may be without power.
