Officials say a fire destroyed a home in Mount Sinai early Sunday morning.
They say the flames broke out at around 6:40 a.m. at the residence on Grass Land Circle.
Nobody was inside and the homeowner was away on vacation, according to officials .
There were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known as of Sunday night.
